i’m really in sort of a blank mood lately with not much to talk about..makes me miss my period drama loveious mood XP

anyways, i literally have to drag myself into doing any useful work, probably cus college is starting so i have to empty all my laziness/slackness for the days ahead lol..

i finally finished most of the line art from the story pictures , and i’m starting on the coloring work, here’s a sample

oh yea and if you didnt know already, i entered this caricature for a contest thingy , but turns out they evaluated all works before i sent mine XP tough luck here’s the caricature

what else .. oh yea i finally found my sought after studded rocker style belt, but turns out one of the steel buttons wont seal for some reason, bummer

anyhoo i have to go shopping again to buy more college wears and such..

and i still have to go through my ID drama, i keep ditching every appointment they give, never in the mood to go there dunno why lol<< if you didn’t know this i lost all sorts of personal IDs and have to go through such hassle to get new ones XPXPXP

Make Up For Ever haul, the good, the bad, the UGLY

i know i haven’t had any interisting stuff to update lately , but i’ve been quite busy with my story book/ other stuff, plus i didn’t have much to talk about lol so..

anyways i’m somewhat consent somwhat upset with the guys from make up for ever..

okay so my sister got some stuff from there..

i’m relly furouis cus we’re supposed to buy things that’re not already expired.. i tried wetting my brush and applying it but no use, it’s still a hassle..

what a waste of money T_T

so advise from a friend.. stick to liquid/pencil eyliner..

next, she got a star powder”glitter” and to be fair it does give a pretty shimmer and you can apply it over matte eyeshadows as it has this real umm thin or delicate consistency.. but it’s not worth the price so no u_u

now thier eye shadows i like^^ they’re again.. quite expensive as compared to MAC but you see they come in large amount,, so they will last with you for quite a while..

and i love the pigmentation and the spread it’s really good.. i’m defiantly borrowing  these from her lool

now she got the gold and the brown cus she thought it would make a lovely combo .. but i’m liking the brown better, the golden seemed a bit nude and less pigmented.. or maybe it’s just how i saw it .. the brown popped out really well ^^ i would definitely recommend their eyeshadows, and their eyeshadows only -__- the whole thing cost her 400RS including the damn gel liner brush lol.. so don’t go spending off money on things you’re not sure of ><

i have a new drawing i’ve been working on for a while.. even though it didn’t turn out as i expected lol

i call it “Determination”^^

the idea behind it is that even though the balloons of the past keeps blowing their whistles and the future is about to pop her work any minute

she’s still determined to blowher balloon .. << the idea seemed cool up in my hand but now that i see it lool hehe well..

i finally finished my designs for the parasitology life cycles.. weee ~^_^now i can draw again..

i’ll be glad to hear what you guys thinks ..

oh yea and it’s been really a drag for me the past 2 weeks s i mean i had the worst sugar rush ever >< i was practically addicted to chocolate and coffe, they were a major part of my diet and to top things off  i kept watching old victorian romantic movies like jane eyre and pride and prejudice.. since i was constantly in a lovious mood lool,  i didn’t feel like in the mood to do anything else , i barely finished those designs 2 days past deadline lol^^

oh and i’m off on a road trip to Salalah tonight , im sooo excited but i hope my trip companions behave themselves in the car lol.. i’ll take tons of pictures and i might draw something to kill time so wish me luck and safety on my trip^^

for not very long i’ve been wondering while looking at arabic eye make up how the artists can achieve this beautiful lightning at the upper part of the eyelid ..

and i’ve learned there are many ways to get that look, i haven’t mastered it yet but i think i’m pretty much close..

you have 3 ways to lighten up the eyelid..

first you can go with a white eye shadow or a sheer white eyeshadow pen.. i used this one from Jessica.. it’s pretty famous here at the local beuty shops and it’s 20RS a piece..

here’s how it looks like

second you can use  glitter powder.. of course this well give you an extreme shimmer so you should be careful with amount of powder you apply..

i actually got this powder from my sister she bought it from alHukair land loool وتقول البياعه غرفته لها في العلبه هههه مدري وش تحس فيه

third you can use your shimmery loose powder in excess ..

and to be honest the last 2 methods don’t last that long.. i found that the pen is the one that stays the longest..but it wont promise much shimmer..

so i found a way that can hold the glitter for as long as possible using a jell based eyeshadow .. i think there’s a special glue that holds glitter powder but i haven’t got a clue what that is.. anyways here’s the jell eyeshadow you apply over the lid and quickly before it dries you put your glitter powder on it ..it’ll last long enough.

and that’s it please if you know any other way do share ^_~

 

Sephora Haul , make up review

so i went to sephora the other day at Hayat mall , and you know givin the fact that  it’s the only branch located in riyadh i figured it would be huge and has every trade mark available, the fact was the opposite :/

anyways ffew things did grasp my attention there so i thought about sharing ^^

okay so first i saw this really cute make up bag that was on sale and i thought , why not XP .. it wasn’t in from sephora they don’t have much there

the clerk man told me this blusher is actually the first product benifit came up with so i tried it out and it was nothing like any blush i’ve ever tried..

it doesn’t have this much pigmentation to it but it give off this beautiful glow to the skin , i love it , i can apply it to my whole face not just the cheeks and won’t look overdone ^^

and i was looking for a suitable eyeshadow pallette with warm tones so i found this stila one , i really wanted to go with the warm smokey brown look,

it has 3 eyeshadows and an extra pinky color for the blush, sort of an all in one pallate..i wished if they replaced the blush with a black eyeshadow to complete the set..i had to buy a seperate black color XP

the eye shadow is really dense and pigments instantly, i really like it..

ok this is a foundation Primer  , you’re supposed to apply it before anything else , it smooths out the skin surface for a soft application of make up..

it’s from yeves saunt lauran, so it’s really expensive .. but i heard the one from smashbox is cheaper and of the same quality..

i haven’t tried it on my face yet but i tried some on my hands and they soo soooft and velvety X3

this mascara i’m not kidding i actually dremt about it , so i bought it lol .. it’s pretty much ok

Shiseido lipstik, it’s actually quite expensive for my budget, i mean i could’ve bought similar quality for a lot less, anyways it may not look like it but it’s a nude fleshy color,  it gives the lips a fresh dewy look,

and i’ve heard alot about this gloss that’s supposed to plump the lips ,  i tried it but it gave me more of a pout than a plump lol

maybe cus i was pouting my lips the whole time cus it really stings XP..but it has a nice consistency, it doesn’t get sticky, and it lasts a long time.. so no regrets^^

so i volunteered for a team that’s doing a remake of our parasitology booklet..

they asked me to re-design the life cycles of some lessons .. but since i spend more time designing than drawing i decided to draw a whole new simplified”in my opinion”cycle..

if you’re not a med student and you managed somehow to understand what’s going on there then kudos for you my friend ^^

A woman is all so feminine and sweet.. but in rough times she can put femininity aside and give you a taste of her mind

there should be more self defense centers here in KSA..

i’m feeling a bit edgey about working in the hospital next semester.. especially the parking space it  always gives me the creeps, even in day light..
